Set fire to the rain

 

It’s been a while. Can’t believe it’s been four months since the last blog post. Such has been the routine these days. I keep running and running but I don’t know where I am going. Crazy times we are living in, I would say. Amidst all the rumbles, here I am with an interesting piece. 

 

I was immersed in my playlist when I got this absurd idea, “can we construct something meaningful by picking up a line from all the songs on my playlist?” Sounds intriguing right? So I picked up gripping, poetic lines from the songs and started connecting or rearranging them. 

 

Let's consider this work as a small experiment. In this post, you’ll find phrases or sentences from the songs on my playlist connected in some order. The ones in the braces (brackets) beside them are the songs from which they were picked. You can ignore them. If you get its essence, then I would consider this experiment a deal-maker. 

 

Here it goes:
